Celebrate Bristol’s year as European City of Sport 2017

Bristol is proud to be named as UK’s European City of Sport 2017 and aims to bring together the best that the city is already doing to highlight the opportunities available, to help people to find an activity that they enjoy and how to get involved, and celebrate our successes.

As part of Bristol City of Sport 2017, sports clubs and providers have been offering free sessions to encourage citizens to try a new sport or activity. Go to the ‘Free activities you can try’ page to find what’s happening near you.

If you are a sports club or physical activity provider and would like to be part of Bristol City of Sport 2017, please register your organisation through our Directory page and consider providing a Free trial session on our ‘Free activities you can try’ page.

This website will continue past 2017, so the more information we can add to help Bristol people find out about the many opportunities available in Bristol the better it will be. If you know of an activity that you think should be included then please email us on: cityofsport17@bristol.gov.uk

Join the conversation on social media by following us on www.facebook.com/BristolCityofSport17  and Twitter @CityofSport17 and don’t forget to use the Facebook tag @BristolCityofSport17 or Twitter hashtag: #CityofSport17.
